Selecta AG, Switzerland, the leading vending and coffee services company in Europe, has sold its subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary to HALANTIR, a.s., a Czech company controlled by Karlovarské mineralní vody, a.s., the largest producer of mineral waters in Central Europe. The sold subsidiaries employ about 200 persons and had a turnover of around 14 million EUR in the business year 2014/2015.

Schellenberg Wittmer acted as Swiss legal counsel to HALANTIR, a.s. / Karlovarské mineralní vody, a.s. for Swiss law aspects of the transaction. The team consisted of partner Oliver Triebold (corporate/M&A) and associate Camillo Devecchi (corporate/M&A).
