Schellenberg Wittmer advised a family office on the sale of a real estate portfolio comprising 14 mainly commercial/retail properties in several cantons in Switzerland to Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK), Germany's largest public pension group, acting through a fund managed by Universal-Investment (UI).
The team included partner Josef Caleff, senior associate Marcel Jakob (both M&A and Real Estate), partner Michael Nordin, senior associate Roland Wild (both Taxation) and partner Anita Schläpfer (Banking and Finance). Transaction advisor was Schroder Real Estate.
